About the project
VParke is an online platform for city residents and visitors, where you can not only learn about diverse events and workshops in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure but also actively participate in them. The platform connects like-minded people, helping them grow in their chosen fields and broaden their horizons. Outdoor activities, open-air movie screenings, and numerous other events make this project a unique meeting and networking space.
Task
Develop an interest-based social platform with event registration and participation capabilities. Key features included creating a subscription system with exclusive bonuses and implementing convenient VKontakte login. The project required four tiered membership plans and a bonus activation system for park visitors.
Solution
For the project implementation, we chose the Laravel framework, which provided development flexibility and stability. We created a convenient authorization system via VKontakte, significantly simplifying the registration process. Four tiered subscription plans with different access levels were developed for users, each offering special bonuses redeemable in the park. The website was meticulously designed with UX/UI considerations to ensure users could easily discover and register for events. The monthly bonus system, integrated with the park's POS systems, created additional motivation for regular event participation.
