Frequent questions
What is the difference between UX and UI?
UX is the logic: what follows what and how a person reaches their goal. UI is how it looks. A beautiful interface with poor logic does not work, so we do both.
Is user research necessary?
It depends on the task. Often analysing the statistics and behaviour recordings on the site is enough. Full interviews are needed where the product is complex and the cost of a mistake is high.
Can the design be reworked without rebuilding the whole site?
Often yes. We start with the screens where users drop off: that brings results faster and cheaper than a full redesign.
Do you only do layouts, or the front-end too?
We can do either. If your team handles the build, we hand over the layouts with a description of components, states and spacing.
