Privacy policy

1. General provisions

This Personal Data Processing Policy has been drawn up in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” and sets out how personal data is processed and the measures taken to keep it secure.

This Policy applies to the websites podscriptom.ru and podscriptom.com (the “Website”) and to the Operator's mobile applications and games distributed through Google Play, RuStore and other application stores (the “Applications”). The Website and the Applications are together referred to as the “Services”.

By using the Services you accept this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

2. What data we process

2.1. Data you provide yourself through forms on the Website: your name, email address, phone number, the content of your enquiry and any other information you choose to supply.

2.2. Data collected automatically when you use the Services:

• IP address and approximate location at country or city level;
• device type and model, operating system version, interface language;
• Application version, crash and performance information;
• the device advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID and similar identifiers);
• cookies and similar technologies on the Website;
• information about your activity in the Services: pages and screens viewed, taps and clicks, session length.

2.3. The Operator does not collect special categories of personal data (health, religious or political views and the like) or biometric data.

2.4. The Operator does not request or store bank card details. Where payment applies, it is handled by the application store or the payment service.

3. Purposes of processing

• replying to enquiries, providing consultations, concluding and performing contracts;
• giving access to the features of the Services and keeping them running;
• analysing how the Services are used and improving their quality;
• displaying advertising, including personalised advertising, and measuring its effectiveness;
• informing you about products, services and special offers where you have consented;
• complying with legal requirements.

4. Legal grounds for processing

• the consent of the data subject, including consent given by submitting a form on the Website;
• a contract to which the user is a party;
• requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation;
• for users outside the Russian Federation, processing may also rest on the Operator's legitimate interest in operating and securing the Services.

5. Analytics and advertising

5.1. The Website uses web statistics services: Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC) and Google Analytics (Google LLC).

5.2. Advertising may be shown in the Applications and on the Website through advertising networks: the Yandex Advertising Network and Google advertising services, including Google AdMob and Google Ads.

5.3. These services independently collect data about the device and about interaction with the advertising, including IP address, advertising identifier and information about impressions and clicks, and process it as independent controllers in accordance with their own documents:

• Yandex — yandex.ru/legal/confidential;
• Google — policies.google.com/privacy.

5.4. You can opt out of personalised advertising yourself:

• on an Android device — in the Google settings under “Ads”, by resetting or deleting the advertising identifier and turning personalisation off;
• in your browser — by disabling cookies or restricting their use in the settings;
• in the settings of the relevant advertising service.

After opting out you will still see advertising, but it will be less relevant to you.

6. Sharing data with third parties

6.1. The Operator does not sell personal data and does not pass it to third parties except in the cases set out below.

6.2. Data may be shared with:

• hosting and infrastructure providers that keep the Services running;
• the analytics services and advertising networks listed in section 5, to the extent needed for them to work;
• application stores, in matters relating to distributing and updating the Applications;
• state authorities, on the grounds and in the manner provided for by law.

6.3. Some of these services are located outside the Russian Federation. Cross-border transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 12 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ. The personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation is recorded and stored in databases located within the Russian Federation.

7. Retention periods

7.1. Data from enquiries submitted through forms is kept for no longer than three years from the last interaction, unless another period is set by contract or by law.

7.2. Anonymised statistical data is kept for the periods set by the relevant analytics services.

7.3. Once the purposes of processing have been achieved, or if consent is withdrawn, the data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights and deletion of data

8.1. You have the right to obtain information about the processing of your personal data, to request that it be corrected, blocked or destroyed, to withdraw your consent, and to appeal against the Operator's actions to Roskomnadzor or in court. Users outside the Russian Federation may also have rights under the law applicable in their country.

8.2. To withdraw consent or request deletion of your data, write to hello@podscriptom.com with the subject “Deletion of personal data”. Requests are handled within 30 days.

8.3. If an Application allows you to create an account, you may request deletion of that account and the data associated with it in the same way. Certain records may be retained where the law requires it, for example for accounting and tax purposes.

9. Children

9.1. The Services are not intended for children under 16, and the Operator does not knowingly collect their personal data.

9.2. Where an Application is marked in the store as intended for children or for a mixed audience, advertising in it is configured without personalisation, in line with the rules of the application stores and the requirements of the advertising networks.

9.3. If you become aware that a child has provided personal data without the consent of a parent or guardian, please write to hello@podscriptom.com and the data will be deleted.

10. Security

The Operator takes the legal, organisational and technical measures needed to protect personal data against unlawful access, destruction, alteration and disclosure: access to data is limited to authorised persons, and data passing between your device and the Services is protected by encryption.

11. Changes to this Policy

The Operator may amend this Policy. The current version is always available at podscriptom.com/en/privacy-policy, and the version date is shown at the top of the document. The Policy remains in force indefinitely until replaced by a new version.
